Get Senior Care in Arizona

The Help You Need is Here

Senior Planning has helped Arizona seniors find care at assisted living communities since 2007. Many families who have needed help planning their elder care solution have come away from Senior Planning with resources they need to move forward.

Free Service for You

Our clients are never charged for our placement services. We are paid in a similar manner as a real estate agent, meaning the care provider that we arrange services with is the one who pays the bill. Again, there will be no charge to you for using our service.

Avondale Assisted Living Communities

For seniors who find that maintaining their independence is becoming difficult at their current residence, assisted living can be a good option. Assisted living communities can provide a flexible level of care that can be adjusted to fit the needs of any individual resident. Certain communities also specialize in the care of seniors with specific long term issues, such as memory care communities for those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Senior Planning can help you find great local communities that will fit both your needs and your resources.

Supplemental Benefits

Both the state and federal government provide resources for seniors who are on fixed incomes. If your income is below the level needed to pay for the long term care that you need, the state will step in. For Arizona seniors, the most common aid program for assisted living and other forms of long term care is the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS), which is part of the state’s Medicaid program. It covers long term care for seniors and younger people with disabilities.

The V.A. Aid and Attendance program is also available to veterans and their spouses provided that they have at least one day of wartime service. Those who qualify can receive supplemental aid that goes directly to either the patient or their fiduciary. Senior Planning is happy to assist with either of these applications for those who use our service.

Request an Assessment

The category of assisted living communities can be a bit misleading to patients and their families. Services, amenities, and care specializations vary a great deal from community to community and it can be difficult to find the right fit. Senior Planning can conduct an assessment to determine your specific care needs so you can better target the communities that work best for your situation. We can conduct an assessment by phone or in person, at our office or your home. Please submit your information or call our office if you are interested. We will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Background Information

If you have already identified a community or two that you are interested in, Senior Planning can provide you with information that you can use to aid your final decision. If you’ve selected a specific town or area you would like to live in we can help you there too. The Arizona Department of Health provides information from their inspections of Avondale assisted living communities, which we can send to you. Here at Senior Planning, we have a great deal of experience in the field, and will likely have worked with clients who have lived in the communities before. We love to share what previous or current residents think of the community.
